Aoi Bungaku 青い文学シリーズ

An adaptation of six Japanese literary works by famous authors:
No Longer Human (Ningen Shikaku) and Run, Melos! (Hashire, Melos) by Osamu Dazai, Kokoro by Natsume Souseki, Hell Screen (Jigoku Hen), The Spider's Thread (Kumo no Ito) by Ryunosuke Akutagawa and In the Forest, Under Cherries in Full Bloom (Sakura no Mori no Mankai no Shita) by Ango Sakaguchi.

Manga artists Takeshi Obata (Death Note), Takeshi Konomi (Prince of Tennis), and Tite Kubo (Bleach) will be involved with the production. (MAL)I was impressed by this anime there was such a mixture of art styles and story lines. Must of the stories have a dark nature, but since there was a lot of writers and artists involved in this series, we get a variety of genres.There is a total of 12 episodes, containing 6 stories. the first story is the longest stretching 4 episodes, and will be made into a full feature movie later this year. I do think this anime is worth watching because there is a something for everyone.

Dance in the Vampire Bund ダンスインザヴァンパイアバンド

The story revolves around Mina Tepes, princess-ruler of all vampires, and her "protector," Akira. Like other vampires, Mina has been in hiding with her people for many years. Seeking to end centuries of isolation, Mina gains permission to create a special district for vampires, "The Bund", off the coast of Japan by paying off the national debt of the Japanese government. Mina then reveals to the world the existence of vampires and her desire for both races to live together. Tensions, however, run high as fearful humans and extremist vampire factions begin to interfere with Mina's wish for peace with the human world. (Wikipedia)Now if the anime follows the manga then we can expect a good anime packed full of blood, gore and lots of action, i don't know if you have noticed but the cute girl is the vampire queen Mina Tepes and the guy above is her bodyguard Akira which she loves and makes dam sure that everyone including him knows it. The first episode didn't follow the manga, but if it did there wouldn't be any surprise left for us who have read the manga. There is only 12 eposides in the season, but i believe they will make another in the futureDownload or stream

Ōkami Kakushi おおかみかくし

A 16 year old boy, Hiroshi Kuzumi, has recently moved into a new town in the mountains. The town is separated into new and old streets by the river, and many mysterious local cultures still remain. Now i haven't read the manga so I only own as much as everyone else, I also don't know how many episodes there will be, but as soon as they air and are subbed i will put them up.

Umineko no Naku Koro ni うみねこのなく頃に

Umineko no Naku Koro ni takes place primarily in the year 1986, during the time frame of October 4 and October 5 on a small, secluded island named Rokkenjima (六軒島) 10 km around owned and lived on by Kinzo, the head of the wealthy Ushiromiya family. Kinzo is near death, and eight of his family members arrive on the island for the annual family conference, where the adults plan to discuss how Kinzo's assets will be divided once he is dead. Also on the island are three family members who live there, five of Kinzo's servants, and his personal physician. After the eight family members arrive, a typhoon traps them on the island, and shortly after, strange things start to happen and people start dying. (Wikipedia)
Umineko no Naku Koro ni is made by the same 07th Expansion but not a sequel to Higurashi no Naku Koro ni in fact it has nothing to do with the anime. But just like Higurashi no Naku Koro ni the anime is spilt into arcs or episodes where time has reset but in this case, only the game starts over and the players remain unaffected, the game includes two main players, the main protagonist Battler Ushiromiya is to deny the existence of magic and witches and the other player is the golden witch Beatrice she has to prove the existence of magic though the murders of the Ushiromiya household. This manga gives us a second season so it won't be long before a sequel to the anime is put into production. The anime is confusing at first, but it is a mystery anime and not all answers are giving to us, so there is lots to look forward to in the future.

Black Rock Shooter anime coming soon!!

I don't think i need to tell you, but the Black Rock Shooter anime is coming in spring 2010. Well, personal opinions aside, oh fuck it, i love the Black Rock Shooter, the character design that is. I can't wait for an anime. For those who don't know the Black Rock Shooter was created by Huke and is the alter ego of Hatsune Miku a character for Volaloid software and serves them as a virtual idol to promote their voice synthesising thingy.The only information i have about the anime is the stuff i have read, well i do know that the anime doesn't invovle Hatsune Miku, but will be voiced by her i guess. There was a 90 second trailer released, so i nicked it of Youtube. (see below)

I do think this anime will be a big success, or so i hope.

Dogs: Bullets & Carnage

It is sometime in the future, where a certain European city extends far underground, even secret, dark levels that have the key to the past. Ex-assassin Mihai has returned and is living with Kiri, who now runs a restaurant. Sword-wielding Naoto, Haine (white hair), a mysterious product of genetic engineering and his sometime partner Badou (eyepatch), not to mention the scary but cute twins Luki and Noki, hang around plying their dangerous, and often deadly trades. Dogs is a four part OVA series, that consists of separate stories within an episode relating to a different character, the different stories do merge and the protagonists of the stories meet. These OVAs are an adaption of the prequel manga series. Each character's story is like the beginning of there reputation which is seen in the manga.

I really like the OVAs, but i don't like how they are only 4, I believe that a series such as Dogs needs a full TV adaption, the anime kind of leaves you wanting more. And to top it all off every episode is only 15 minutes long which doesn't leave much left, specially since they have put more than one story into a episode....I want more.

Yuki Cross's earliest memory is of a snowy night in winter, when she was attacked by an evil vampire and was saved by a kind one, Kaname Clan. Yuki is the adopted daughter of the Headmaster of Cross Academy, Kaien Cross, who is an ex-vampire hunter that now wishes for vampires and humans to live alongside peacefully. She has grown up and become a prefect for the school which has one main purpose: for vampires to coexist peacefully with humans. Her fellow guardian and childhood companion, Zero Kiryu, whose parents were killed by a pure-blood vampire, is now determined to kill them all and refuses to trust them. Zero himself is now manifesting vampire traits, having been turned into a vampire after he was bitten by the vampire who attacked his family, Shizuka Hiou, four years earlier. (Wikipedia)Vampire Knight has 26 episodes which are compiled into 2 seasons the second titled Guilty. For most of the anime the setting is a school, for vampires known as night class and humans known as day class. Now the so-called normal students are unaware that the night class is composed of vampires. The main protaganists Zero and Yuki are the guardians which keep the day and night class separate. The anime has more than one story, which leads to the second season.There is so much in this anime including the Horror aspect there is romance and humour. I think this anime has something for everyone, and therefore can satisfy a lot of audiences. There is a lot of twists in this anime, which kind of leads you astray from the main narrative. The second season i believe ends with the suggestion.
